A Useful Box and Travel Journal Classes

Happy Friday! I'm so glad that it's the end of the week already!

Our next class will be taking place on Monday, June 8th 10-12 AM or Thursday, June 11th 6-9 PM. In this class you will learn how to make this Useful Box to Put Things In, class taught by Sody Clements. The cost is $40.


Isn't it great?? Love the giraffe print!!

This class explores detailed techniques and the result will be an archival box that can honestly be called a work of art. We will use acid free book board, fine papers, and vintage hardware. We will actually build the box from scratch, cover it with various fine papers, and construct a well fitting lid, complete with a handsome knob. You will learn how to adapt the techniques to make a box of any size and to use a wide variety of materials to personalize each subsequent box you make. A class kit will be provided. Students should bring: craft knife with several sharp blades, bone folder, scissors, and ruler (a C-Thru ruler is ideal). Feel free to bring your own Big Gulp! During the day class, there will be time to take a short lunch break if you wish.
